The ProctyClean® vitamin E oil protects and maintains the cleaned anal canal. It guarantees a gentle cleaning process and was developed especially for problems in the anal canal such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, itching and much more. Experience greater well-being after just a few applications!
Recently I have felt a burning sensation when using the ProctyClean® intimate care pen with olive oil.
Olive oil, like most other natural oils, contains many different chemical substances. These substances undergo a natural change over time in reaction with atmospheric oxygen. The oils become rancid. In this natural process of change completely new, less skin-friendly substances are created.
These altered natural oils, especially olive oil, lead to irritation of the mucous membrane and the outer skin.
For this reason, we have developed the ProctyClean® vitamin E oil, which is much better tolerated in medium to long term use and contains effective natural substances to care for the inflamed mucous membrane and the outer skin.
If you are not familiar with the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen, this is certainly a question you might ask.
First things first: after many years of development and testing, after more than 6000 ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pens sold, after not a single feedback about possible injuries caused by the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen and after a good ten years of use by the inventor himself, we can guarantee the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pencil does NOT cause any injury to the anal area!
Why?
The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen made of a medical plastic has a smooth rounded tip and thus allows easy and gentle penetration through the sphincter muscle. The steps are designed in such a way that a light and resistant sliding into the anal canal is possible. Due to its rounded shape, there is no injury to the soft tissue.
The medical material used for the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen has a high density, a perfectly smooth surface, is hypoallergenic and very durable. The fine but hardly palpable press seam on the pen does not cause any damage or irritation to the mucous membrane! This has been extensively tested.
Another aspect: the anal canal is anatomically designed to allow balls of stool with a diameter of up to 40mm or more to slide through it. These stool bales can and do contain rough and coarse residual structures of the ingested food. The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen, on the other hand, has a diameter of only 11 mm, is extremely smooth and rounded everywhere - so there is absolutely no risk of injury!
Injury to the anal canal and the mucous membrane caused by the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen is not possible under normal use as recommended by the manufacturer!
The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen was developed solely for the care and prophylaxis of the anal area.
As the anal area is also used for sexual practices, it may be believed that the ProctyClean® intimate care kit has something to do with sexual activity or preferences.
It is not possible to stimulate sexual feelings with the ProctyClean® intimate care kit and it is therefore safe to assume that the ProctyClean® intimate care kit only makes sense in the context of modern and innovative anal hygiene.
The use of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit does not make any statement about your sexual orientation.
The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit is a sexually neutral innovation with great hygienic potential!
The ProctyClean® intimate care kit has a clearly positive effect on numerous anal complaints, because it gets to the bottom of the problem and doesn’t just address the symptoms.
We can guarantee success at this stage:
In the case of anal itching and mild inflammation, almost 100% of users of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit report an immediate and lasting improvement in their quality of life due to the increased hygiene.
Patients suffering from complaints caused by skin tags can also benefit from this cleaning measure due to the improved anal hygiene.
Anal thrombosis and anal cramps occur much less frequently or can disappear completely.
In cases of stool smear, loss of stool or stool incontinence of a slight to a moderate degree and correspondingly soiled linen, 100% of those affected report an immediate improvement in the situation after using the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen. Stool incontinence patients therefore experience a significant improvement in their quality of life through intimate cleansing with the ProctyClean® intimate care pen! These patients greatly appreciate the increased hygiene provided by the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen.
After bowel surgery, many patients suffer from long-term burning in the anus due to frequent diarrhoea. Treatment with the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit can quickly improve the symptoms.
Test subjects report a significant increase in well-being and hygiene shortly after using the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit.
Based on an observation of the group of test persons in the study, these are very likely indications in the following:
In the case of hemorrhoids, we have some positive case reports and assume a significantly improved effect in grades 1 and 2. In the case of a higher degree of hemorrhoidal disease, cleaning with the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen is difficult due to the hemorrhoids. In this case, please consult a proctologist before using.
In the case of anal fissures, we also expect a noticeable improvement due to the concept of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen and the pathology of this particular mucous membrane wound. A significant reduction of stool residue in this mucous membrane wound + nourishing oil can only be beneficial for healing.
Significant improvements have also been observed for anal eczema. However, this depends on the respective cause of the eczema.
Our ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen is not only limited to use with a bidet. Here you will find instructions on how to use the hand shower in the shower, in the bathtub or with a separate plastic bowl e.g. in the bathtub.
The ProctyClean® intimate care pen should always be used with the ProctyClean® vitamin E oil and with simultaneous water supply to the anal area - preferably over a bidet.
If you do not have a bidet, you can easily use the ProctyClean® intimate care pen in your shower or bathtub:
Crouch down, use your left hand to guide the hand shower between your legs from the front. Aim the water stream toward your anal area. Now apply the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen from behind with your right hand (vice versa for left-handers).
The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen can also be used while sitting on the edge of the bathtub. Attention: Please lean your upper body forward so that you do not fall backwards into the bathtub!
We always recommend using the ProctyClean® intimate care pen with the ProctyClean® vitamin E oil and a simultaneous strong water jet directly on the anal area.
In cases of severe and acute complaints such as anal fistulas, anal abscesses and large anal fissures, you should consult a doctor first and if necessary undergo surgical treatment of the anal area.
If the symptoms are not relieved within 3 weeks with regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit, a visit to a doctor is absolutely necessary!
Please also read the general and safety instructions!
Culturally and educationally, the anal area is more or less taboo all over the world. However, the anal area is a completely normal part of your body.
The anal canal is a body cavity like any other: The mouth, the nose, the ears. By regularly cleaning the anal canal with the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen, you can give this region more attention through targeted hygiene. In this way, your anal region will increasingly become a normal, equal part of your body. You dispel the outdated, taboo script, and the pleasant feeling of well-being that develops promotes a new, positive attitude towards this part of the body.
In addition to this positive experience for your body feeling, you will soon develop the need to keep this often irritated part of your body in a pleasant and positive state through regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit.
In this case it is particularly useful to use the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit, as the situation is stabilized after the medical treatment and the recurrence of previous complaints can usually be prevented.
The ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit can also be expected to have a positive effect on moderately severe anal disorders.
If there is no relief of symptoms within 3 weeks of regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit, a visit to your doctor is absolutely necessary!
Most symptoms in the anal area can be positively influenced by the use of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit and the resulting cleansing and care of the anal area even in the short term through targeted hygiene!
We now know this after 10 years of intensive studies and practical testing with over 6000 patients.
Our advice is the following:
If you have tolerable to unpleasant, but recurring symptoms in the anal area that do not improve despite various aids, try the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit.
If a surgical procedure is suggested for mild or moderate discomfort, but you do not want to undergo or wait, try the ProctyClean® intimate care kit.
In addition, the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit is also an effective aid for incontinence problems or other symptoms that can arise after bowel and prostate surgery or other major surgical procedures.
If you do not experience relief of symptoms within 3 weeks with regular use of the ProctyClean® Intimate Hygiene Kit, a visit to the doctor is absolutely necessary!
Residual stool in the anal canal is a major cause of inflammation, pain, anal itching and many complaints in the anal canal!
Just follow the general and medical instructions under “PRODUCT”, and you, too, can benefit from the great advantages of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit!
Shortly after defecation, moisten the ProctyClean® intimate care pen with 3-5 drops of ProctyClean® vitamin E oil and apply it to the anal area (see instructions under "Product"). Clean and dry the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene pen and anal area again with water. If there is no water supply, use the ProctyClean® intimate care pen with ProctyClean® vitamin E oil several times, making sure to clean the pen and reapply a new amount of ProctyClean vitamin E oil before each application. A water stream is preferable, if possible. It’s as simple as that!
If the symptoms are not relieved within 3 weeks with regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate care kit, a visit to the doctor is absolutely necessary!
Conventional medical recommendations for the care of the anal area
1) Keep the anal region clean by washing several times a day (in the morning, in the evening and after each bowel movement). Washing in the evening is especially important if you are tempted to scratch at night because of itching. A bidet is ideal for anal cleansing, but a hip bath in a larger bowl, the bathtub and rinsing off with a hand shower are also suitable. It is important that all - even the smallest particles of stool (even on hair and skin folds) are removed.
2) Carry out the cleaning gently. You do not need a piece of soap or a rough washcloth for this, just a soft washcloth and lukewarm water. Soap residue on the skin promotes inflammation.
3) Wash often. If external circumstances do not allow it, make sure that you carry a sufficient supply of wet wipes with you. These allow a gentler and more effective cleaning than a supply of wet wipes, preferably without perfumes, disinfectants or other additives. If you do not have wet wipes on hand, use moistened toilet paper.
4) After washing, make sure to dry carefully. Use a soft towel. You should not rub yourself with it, but rather dab yourself gently. If the skin around the anus is more inflamed, it is best to use the warm air stream from a hairdryer to dry it.
5) Avoid any form of moisture in the Intergluteal cleft. Immediately remove any damp clothing from your anal region. Always wear only cotton underwear and avoid underwear made of nylon or other synthetic fibres. Do not wear tight clothing that could constrict the buttocks. Instead, good air circulation should be possible in the buttocks region. Women should consider to wear skirts instead of trousers. At home a skirt without additional underwear would promote healing. Wear socks instead of tights, unless they are open at the crotch.
6) Do not use talcum powder or baby powder. These powders tend to clump in the skin folds. Perfumed powders may cause an allergy.
If you sweat easily, ask your pharmacist to recommend a neutral powder. In this case, after washing and drying the anal region, powder a larger, thin cotton napkin vigorously and place it between the buttocks. Replace these napkins after each washing and drying.
7) If the skin is sore, antiseptic solutions can promote healing. A watery 0.5% silver nitrate solution or a watery 0.5% pyoctanine solution is suitable. If your doctor prescribes such a solution, you should always apply it after washing and before drying.
8) Do not use ointments or creams unless a specialist has prescribed them for you. Ointments and creams tend to keep the skin moist, which should be avoided. This can also cause allergies.
9) Avoid diarrhoea. Avoid all food that you know may cause you gastrointestinal problems. Eat food containing fibre (wholemeal products, vegetables, fruit) to keep the stool soft and to ensure that bowel movements are regular. The bowel movement should start as spontaneously as possible without long and intensive pushing.
10) Avoid injuries in the anal region. If you scratch the inflamed anal region while half asleep at night, consider wearing light cotton gloves at night.
As the inflamed area heals, you can gradually reduce these rules. However, it is advisable to keep the anal region clean and dry. Avoid soaps, ointments, creams and rough rubbing in the future. If the inflammation reoccurs, which is quite possible, you should strictly return to these rules of conduct.
Regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit prevents the renewed occurrence of symptoms in the anal area through increasing hygiene.
Inflammation in the area of the body goes down long term. Many symptoms usually subside immediately, and a pleasant feeling of well-being is achieved that you will want to continue.
The ProctyClean® intimate care kit can therefore be successfully used as a preventive measure to optimize your anal hygiene for the following anal problems: itching in the anus, mild to moderate hemorrhoids, sore bottom, stool smears, anal eczema, anal fissures, skin tags, anal burning, anal itching, stool incontinence and stool loss.

If the symptoms do not ease within 3 weeks with regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit, a visit to the doctor is absolutely necessary!
This is a relatively common, spontaneously occurring clinical picture. It involves the formation of a clot in the venous plexus around the anus. It usually occurs as a circumscribed spherical painful swelling, the cause of which is excessive pushing during defecation. Occasionally the thrombosis perforates spontaneously and may bleed as a result. As a rule, the clots resorb themselves, so that no surgical therapy is necessary. If this is not the case, surgical treatment is carried out after four to six weeks once the acute phase has subsided.
The acute anal prolapse can occur after heavy pushing during defecation, during episodes of diarrhoea, after childbirth but also after intense physical exertion. The prolapse is localised on the anal skin, so that a visual diagnosis is possible. Symptomatically, the strong pain and the prolapsed tissue are in the foreground. The affected patients complain of a considerable feeling of illness. The therapy should initially be carried out with local anaesthesia and analgesic and decongestant medication.
Patients are also recommended to stay in bed. After the symptoms have subsided, a proctological examination is carried out. It is not uncommon to find a haemorrhoidal disorder that requires surgical treatment to prevent the problems from recurring.
An anal fissure is a tear in the anal canal which is accompanied by bleeding and acute pain during or after defecation. An acute fissure can heal spontaneously. In contrast, the chronic form shows no healing tendency. There is a risk of an anal fistula or anal abscess forming. If there is no improvement after a conservative therapy attempt with an ointment that lowers the sphincter pressure in combination with an anal dilator, surgical repair is carried out by cutting out the fissure under general anaesthesia.
An anal fistula is a ductal connection between the anal canal and the anal skin. The fistula crosses the sphincter muscle. A frequent symptom and indication of a fistula is the periproctitic abscess. Abscesses are characterized by swelling, pain and fever. It is important to open the abscess as early and comprehensively as possible. Fistula detection is not absolutely necessary and should be reserved for the proctologist. Inflammatory changes in the anus can also be based on chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases, e.g. Crohn's disease or acne.
The origin of hemorrhoidal disease is largely unexplained. Predisposing factors include diet, constipation, pushing during bowel movements, pregnancy and being overweight. Symptomatically, bleeding, burning and itching occur more frequently. Occasionally there is also a tendency to lubricate stool. Pain, on the other hand, is not typical of haemorrhoidal disease. It is divided into four stages and treatment is carried out according to the clinical classification. 95% of all haemorrhoidal diseases are treated conservatively. Asymptomatic hemorrhoids do not require therapy!
Pointed genital warts are among the most common benign neoplasms on and in the anus. The cause is an infection with human papillomaviruses, mostly type 6 and 11. The viruses are mainly transmitted through sexual contact, partner examinations are therefore always necessary. The method of therapy depends on the severity and localisation.
Minor findings can be treated with podophyllotoxin or imiquimod. Pronounced perianal and anal genital warts can only be removed under general anaesthesia.
Follow up examinations are important in order to detect a recurrence of genital warts or to treat them at an early stage, as genital warts located in the anus are particularly prone to recurrence.
In the case of soiled underwear, greasy stool, loss of stool, light and medium degree stool incontinence, usually immediately!
In the case of inflammatory complaints (irritation, itching, anal eczema, light to moderate hemorrhoids) within one to two weeks.
If the symptoms do not ease within 3 weeks with regular use of the ProctyClean® intimate hygiene kit, a visit to the doctor is absolutely necessary!
"Perhaps a larger shield diameter would make ProctyClean useful for people with anal prolapse. I feel very comfortable using ProctyClean. It handles well, and there is a pleasant feeling during insertion and removal. The cleaning effect is clearly noticeable."
Christopher K.
"The development of this device for prophylactic anal hygiene provides an excellent, unique approach.."
Dr. Johann F., proctologist
"Quite frankly, cleaning after bowel movements with water, paper and wet wipes has always been unsatisfactory, perhaps comparable to the somewhat inept attempt to perform oral hygiene with a napkin. Since using the ProctyClean intimate hygiene pen, I finally have a real feeling of hygiene in the anal area and have been using the ProctyClean intimate hygiene pen regularly since day one for my personal hygiene".
Fabian L.
"Since using ProctyClean, lubrication of stool is no longer a problem. In general, an increased feeling of cleanliness and well-being."
Fabian P.
"Ich werde weiterhin den Intimpflege-Stift benutzen. Es ist einfach ein gutes Gefühl nach der Reinigung. Diese Erfindung ist einfach ideal!"
